Nutrient CONTENT

Kibble is made from meat & bone meal derived from rendering process. Meat waste, carcasses, deceased animals, road kill, restaurant grease, feathers,  and possibly plastic bags are all used in manufacturing of kibble. Kibble also contains toxins from mouldy grains and chemicals found in manufacturing cigarettes. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Carbohydrates

Kibble is made with huge amounts of cheap, low quality carbohydrates sourced from variety of sources. Wheat and corn are often used as simply cheap fillers. That allows kibble manufacturers  to make “low fat” claims on labels. Some kibble brands contain up to 75% of carbohydrates content.

It is not requirement in Australia and also in many other countries around the world to disclose carbohydrate content in dogs’ food.

Excessive carbohydrates consumption also causes:

  • Inflammations
  • Bloat
  • Excessive gas
  • And many more health issues

Protein

Protein is essential for dogs. Kibble contains very low amounts of protein.

Protein in kibble may not be bio available to dogs and is not digested.

Source of protein in kibble corn gluten and animal waste. Meat meal is used not real meat. Same is dehydrated meat and dry meat. Heat damaged not useful for dogs.

Ultra processing kills nutrients value of protein sources.

Minimum is 22% and most not digested affecting health and well being.

FATS

Kibble manufacturers use numerous questionable sources of fats during kibble manufacturing process. Some of those sources are restaurant grease, chemicals.

DIGESTIBILITY

Digestibility of kibble is around 70-75% only. Which means your dogs digestive system has to work extra hard to remove undigested waste.
